Tis the season for giving! I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get totally stuck on what to get for the special people in my life. I can’t be alone. This month, I will be highlighting some of my favorite things in hopes of helping you to grab the perfect gift for that special fitness enthusiast or aspiring fitness enthusiast in your life.
First up is the MisFit Ray Fitness+ Sleep Tracker . I can not tell you how long I have been wanting to invest in a fitness tracker as a way to motivate myself and keep track of my progress. I am all about setting goals and smashing them so this was the perfect tool for that. So, when I was presented with the opportunity to try out the MisFit Ray, I was literally in heaven!
Why I Love It:
This tracker is different than the rest in it’s versatility in design. It is extremely sleek and can be made to meet any aesthetic preference with an array of color options and dual wearability. Not only can this be worn on your wrist but you can also purchase an accessory which will allow your tracker to be worn as a necklace. So, you can pair well from your favorite fitness class to brunch with your friends! How cool is that?
You do not have to charge it at all! I think that is the biggest selling point. I am always forgetting to charge things which is super frustrating because then I buy something really cool and don’t get to fully use it because I can’t manage to keep it charged. This is not a problem with the MisFit because it uses a battery and I have been rocking mine for about a month and a half and am still showing a full charge!
It allows you to get social and creates friendly competition. I hooked up with some of my fellow Dallas Fitness Ambassadors and have been competing on our daily steps. I never win (partly because the days I truly dominate no one seems to update their steps that day) but it is still fun and something that I look forward to. With fitness, looking forward to working out is always a good thing. Right?
That Darn Sleep Tracker is EVERYTHING. I have been in a constant state of tired ever since I became a mom and the sleep tracker has definitely helped me to understand why. It tells you how much sleep you are getting and has the technological capabilities to monitor light sleep vs. restful sleep. I am noticing that the majority of my sleep is light which has to be a factor in why I am still tired.
My Only Complaint
- I absolutely love the fact that I can wear the tracker as a necklace but, it is a little hard to transition to. The pieces are really small and the two times I have tried, I have failed. Hence, no pictures of me rocking the necklace.
I could go on and on about how much fun you will have when you join team MisFit but I will leave you with these few fun facts. I totally encourage you to grab one and get it under that Christmas tree! There is power in numbers so, grab one for yourself too so you can get in on all the fun!
