It's the Knockarounds for Me

Summer has come to a close, and it’s time to fall back into the racing season! I’m always trying something new. A different race, a new running belt by Spibelt, new shoes by HOKA, New Balance and Brooks, or a new running outfit. My latest adventure has taken me out of my comfort zone, “Running Sunglasses.” I’m not one of those who has shades for every outfit, nor do I run in them mainly because they tend to make me sleepy (I know it sounds strange).
I accepted when Knockaround challenged me to put all my sunny training to the test with the upcoming Fall race season, cooler temperatures, and fun outdoor adventures. I added the Knockaround Premium Sport and the Pacific Palisades to my run accessory kit.
Pacific Palisades
I took the Pacific Palisades out for an easy run through the neighborhood just in case they didn’t work well, I could run by the house and drop them off. To my surprise, the Pacific Palisades shades were just the addition I needed to keep the Texas sun out of my eyes. In addition to keeping the sun out of my eyes, they also didn’t bounce during the run (this was a big plus). For the next run, I headed to the trails, and to my surprise, the Pacific Palisades didn’t fail me. They protected me from the sun, the bugs, and a few falls because I could see the tree roots up ahead and I didn't get sleepy.

Sports Collection
I enjoyed running in the Pacific Palisades so much that I forgot I had a second pair of running sunglasses, but the sports collection did not disappoint me. They provided me with the same bounce-free run as the Pacific Palisades. In addition to running, I also wore them to the State Fair of Texas, and they were so comfortable I forgot I had them on.
